"International" is Supreme Champion!!

 - - - - - Trinity Manor herd member wins the "big one"!! - - - - -

For the very first time, an animal sired by imported international genetics was named Supreme Champion at an Island Show.

Imagine Sultan Daisy, who is owned by Imagine Jerseys (Steve Le Feuvre & Rob Stevenson), and is part of the Trinity Manor herd, won the very strong class of heifers in milk, and on her way to taking the Supreme Championship of the show, also picked up the Junior Championship, Best Udder Junior Championship, Exhibitor-bred Champion, as well as Champion Best Udder of the show. She was just 19 days calved, and is a daughter of the very popular North American sire, SHF Centurion Sultan.

Judge Mark Logan from Northern Ireland, described his champion as one of the best heifers he had seen in recent years, ‘a worthy leader of the standout class of the day’ and an animal ‘that would have held her own at the top of the equivalent class at the UK Dairy Event', which he had judged three weeks earlier. It was also the first time in around a quarter of a century that the top cow at an Island cattle show has been a two year old.
