The 16th World Jersey Cattle Bureau Conference was held in Odense, Denmark from 23rd to 28th June.
Two Distinguished Service Awards were presented during the conference
Hans Nørgaard Calvin Covington
Hans Nørgaard - "in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the research and compilation of the history of the Jersey breed worldwide". Hans' extensive work is published on the Internet in his History of Jerseys Worldwide
Calvin Covington - "in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the Jersey breed globally by the promotion of equitable milk pricing"
